About
Fri 7 May | 8pm | £28 Irish country music icon, Declan Nerney, has been inducted into the Irish Country Music Hall of Fame, cementing his status as a beloved national treasure. Born in Drumlish, County Longford, Nerney’s early passion for music was shaped by the vibrant showband scene. At just 16, he joined his first band, The Hi-Lows, and soon after became a fixture on stages across Ireland. His breakthrough came with the autobiographical hit ‘The Marquee in Drumlish’, a tribute to his childhood and the cultural heartbeat of rural Irish music.
