About
A real-life mother and daughter set out on a road trip from the beaches of Donegal to southern Italy, searching for traces of a forgotten history, and for a way to understand each other. Blending live performance, documentary film and live electronic music, Aliens explores the little-known story of Italian immigrants interned as “enemy aliens” during the Second World War, alongside contemporary stories of migration. Performed in English, French and Italian with integrated subtitles, it is a meditation on migration, inheritance and those who live in between - the aliens.
