About
Irish comedian James Downey blends pun-tastic wit, razor-sharp crowd work and a splash of musical comedy in a high-energy performance exploring working-class Belfast, Irish music and his wonderfully chaotic family. Can’t Sit Downey is packed with big laughs from start to finish. Family, growing up, relationships, trying to improve yourself - James finds the funny in all of it with warmth, quick wit and plenty of audience interaction, leaving audiences uplifted, energised and laughing all the way home.
