About
Our National Games by Gerard Humphreys is a compelling political drama about the Arms Crisis of 1970. Originally staged at Axis in 2008 and shortlisted for the Stewart Parker Trust Award, the play explores the Arms Crisis of 1970, when careers were ruined and members of the Government were charged in court. At the centre of the crisis was Captain James Kelly and the real-life events that led to one of the most turbulent political scandals in modern Irish history.
