About
Grammy Award-winning pianist Francesco Turrisi launches his album “Vuci” with a multimedia show exploring his Sicilian roots and migration through music, archival recordings, and poetry. The album explores Turrisi’s Sicilian roots through a series of compositions connected to the time he spent on the island during his childhood, and also reflects on the idea of migration: that of his own family leaving Sicily, and the more recent movement of people arriving on its shores.
