Starting upstream and carried by the river's gentle current through sweeping bends and stunning scenery, this is open-water swimming at its finest - fully supported, expertly organised and utterly unforgettable. With four distances - 800m, 3.5km, 5.8km or 12km (marathon) - swimming downstream along the River Shannon through scenic countryside, finishing on the shores of Lough Ree.
