About
Smashing Times Visual Art Gallery, 30 Sandycove Road, Sandycove, Dublin A96V9P1 As part of The Queer Portrait Project, artist Kiz Rutherford presents an exhibition of intimate and affirming portraits of members of Ireland’s LGBTQ+ community, alongside an artist talk and live portraiture sittings. The project is a community-based artistic response to rising anti-LGBTQIA+ rhetoric and targeted violence and celebrates queer identity, diversity, strength and resilience, grounded in the principle that trans and queer rights are human rights.
