About

Learn the art of Intaglio printmaking at Butler Gallery with artist Anne McDonnell. Inspired by Mildred Anne Butler’s High Court of Justice, an atmospheric work depicting a gathering of ravens in a tree, this one-day masterclass invites participants to explore imagery inspired by the darker, more mysterious side of the natural world. Throughout the one-day masterclass, participants will take an experimental approach to drypoint printmaking, experimenting with scribing into aluminium before adding colour with Chine collé.
