About
BTG bring you a very special production, co-directed by Charlie McGuinness and Ollie Kenny, and dedicated to the memory of the late, great Gus Hanley. Gus directed this play in 1998 and it was a resounding success and fulfilled Gus’s two theatrical aims, getting as many people on stage as possible and giving the audience a great night’s entertainment. The Chastitute by John B. Keane is a hilarious yet poignant comedy about John Bosco McLaine, a 53 year old bachelor farmer in rural Ireland who is celibate by force of circumstance.
