About
What if we looked at Melbourne through its water rather than through its buildings? That is the starting point for a possible Melbourne arts and culture story centred around the first Australian presentation of Italian architect, designer and photographer Giancarlo Leone. Leone’s project, The City on the Water. Cercando la Città Altrove, began with a question about the quality of life in contemporary cities. His answer has been to search for a different version of the city, his 'City Elsewhere', along the waterways that pass through it.
