Recurring Echoes is an exhibition celebrating 25 years of artistic practice by Liliana Di Lizio Barbieri. The exhibition has been extended to 17 October. Bringing together painting, photography, installation and sculptural works, the exhibition explores how cultural memory is carried through everyday rituals, materials and acts of making. Drawing deeply from Italian Australian domestic life, Barbieri transforms humble objects such as pasta, textiles, timber and paper into poetic reflections on migration, resilience and belonging.
