About
Sir Peter Wright's beloved production of The Nutcracker returns to the Ian Potter State Theatre to enchant Melbourne's audiences. With earlier start times, The Nutcracker is the perfect ballet to create a new family tradition. In The Nutcracker, Tchaikovsky’s last ballet score, with its famous motifs and melodies, draws us into the story of Clara, a young ballet student celebrating with her family on Christmas Eve.
