About
Be part of Opera Australia’s return to the Ian Potter State Theatre, as the curtain rises on a renewed Melbourne icon – and opera reverberates through the theatre once more. This celebration brings together music of extraordinary scale and dramatic power, composed by Richard Wagner. This music was made for vast orchestral forces and voices that can fill a theatre. Conductor Michael Güttler has led acclaimed performances at the world’s great opera houses and is one of the world’s leading Wagner specialists.
