About
The Moat Club's October full-length play is Dublin Carol by Conor McPherson. This production will be directed by Samantha Coventry and will star Michael McHugh as John, Rebecca Byrne as Mary and Nick Pearson-Buffoni as Mark. Set in Dublin on Christmas Eve, undertaker John Plunkett takes a retrospective look at his own life, revealing lost opportunities, a misused past and one last chance to make it right. Dublin Carol was produced just three years after McPherson’s internationally acclaimed and award-winning The Weir.
